Element451 Managed Integrations are purpose-built, team-supported integrations that connect Element to a college or university’s core systems — most commonly their SIS (e.g., Banner Ethos or Colleague) as well as ancillary systems like North Carolina’s Community Colleges’ CFNC Application system.

Unlike self-service connectors, Managed Integrations are built, configured, monitored, and maintained by the Element451 team. They securely use customer-provided API credentials to sync data between systems.

These integrations power real-time or near-real-time data flows — like syncing biographical updates, applications, addresses, and other student data — ensuring that Element451 and the SIS stay aligned.

In short, Managed Integrations are for institutions that need:

They serve as the backbone for enterprise-grade deployments where CRM, AI Agents, and enrollment workflows must stay tightly connected to the institution’s source-of-truth systems.

The following documentation is created to guide Element451 Managed Integration partners through setup, testing, and ongoing use of the Managed Integration solution. While it may serve as a helpful reference for others, dedicated support for this documentation is available exclusively to Managed Integration partners.
