Testing Overview

Workday User Acceptance Testing (UAT)  is used to confirm that student application data is syncing correctly from Element451 to Workday.

During testing, you should validate that:

• the sync can be triggered successfully from Element451
• the application is created in Workday
• required student/application values are populated correctly
• errors are visible in the Integration Log
• Workday-generated values are written back into Element451 after they become available

Testing Element451 → Workday

Preparation

Create test student records in Element451 with applications. These records should represent a wide range of scenarios used by your institution.

Note: These records should be removed before go-live as they are test records.

Testing

Follow the steps in How to Sync Records (Workday) to trigger a sync.

Validate Data in Workday

Once a record has synced successfully:

• Review the record in Workday
• Compare values using the Field Mappings section.
• Validate:
  • Element451 fields (slugs)
  • Corresponding Workday fields
